Laguna Ocean Foundation

The Laguna Ocean Foundation was founded by local residents during the Laguna Vision 2030 discussions to address the growing need for community-based stewardship of the coast and canyon coastal protection. What began with tidepool education, Aliso Creek restoration, and a few dedicated volunteers has evolved into a realization: to tackle today’s complex issues—climate change, pollution, plastics, and tourism—we need a professional, integrated approach supported by strong community engagement and sustainable funding.
