We'd love to see you out at the tidepools during the next low tide. Our Biologists and Tidewater Docents provide education during tides of 2.5' or lower at the following sites: Crescent Bay, Goff Island, Heisler Park, Shaws Cove, Treasure Island, and Wood's Cove. Learn what you need to know before your visit!

Our Tidewater Docent Program has been around longer than we have! Crazy, right? That's how long the local community has helped to protect the beautiful and fragile tidepools here in Laguna Beach. Whether it's providing education out at tidepools or assisting with activities at community events, we have volunteer opportunities for everyone. Sign-up today!

Let us host a beach clean-up for you and your organization! This is a great way for your team members to work together as they comb the beaches for trash all while helping to keep the beaches cleaner and safer for everyone to enjoy. Laguna Ocean Foundation can handle the planning, permits, and provide all supplies necessary. Submit a request here!

LOF is starting two citizen science initiatives. They include a plastic pollution and marine debris campaign called Nurdle Alert! as well as a biodiversity campaign. Both programs will directly engage the public and provide an opportunity to make an environmental impact. Contact us here to learn more.
